enso

enso is an experiential work at the border of art and games. Wearing an EEG headband, you sit in silence as your brainwaves draw a Zen circle (enso) in real time. The deeper you focus, the closer the circle comes to perfect; when your mind wanders, it breaks apart. A perfect circle exists only in the mind. ○/enso materializes it through your concentration. Each player takes home their own unique enso on washi paper, finished with calligraphy and seals.
