Transmedia horror producer Lady Mariam is both a spokesperson for the genre and a vocal advocate of building worlds across multiple forms of media. The CEO of Spoondrift Games has worked with independent teams, major brands, and on marketing campaigns to shape and launch commercially viable IPs while upholding their creative integrity. Most notably, she co-designed the “vomit bag campaign” for Terrifier 2, and is festival producer for the Nightmare in the Ozarks film festival as mentioned by The New York Times. This year, she was also one of three mentors hired by Creative Europe and organised through the European Film Market, MIFA, and Spielfabrique to coach senior developers in their first transmedia IPs. She is working with the Cooperative Futures Institute on the development of cooperation-focused transmedia IPs. Furthermore, she is setting up a pipeline for international game to film adaptations through European companies, handling established IP as well as original content. Additionally, she is currently working with Wiedemann und Berg (DARK) as an executive producer on a scripted TV strategy, and is preparing numerous theatrical releases for 2028.
