Entrepreneur and founder Hendrik Lesser is CEO of the international production company remote control productions. Since gaining a foothold in the industry over 20 years ago, he has built a family of independent development studios across Europe and beyond, which today consists of 17 teams in six countries with more than 450 passionate game makers. Most recently, he founded the publishing label Lesser Evil, which focuses on politically conscious content. In addition to his commercial roles, he is an enthusiastic ambassador and lecturer for promoting games as cultural assets, e.g. through his positions as president of the European Games Developer Federation (EGDF) and as managing director and board member of the Bavarian games industry association Games Bavaria Munich e.V. (GBM). He is also co-founder and managing director of the association “Videospielkultur” (Video Game Culture), which campaigns for the recognition of video games as a valuable cultural asset.
