Tuba Bozkurt (born 1983 in Lübeck) is a member of the Berlin State Parliament (Abgeordnetenhaus) for Alliance 90/The Greens, representing the Gesundbrunnen district since 2021. Within the Green parliamentary group, she serves as Spokesperson for Industry & Digital Economy and Spokesperson for Anti-Discrimination. Bozkurt focuses on shaping Berlin’s industrial and digital transformation in ways that are both socially just and sustainable. She advocates for a digital economy that reflects Berlin’s diversity and for modernizing public administration to ensure equitable access to digital services. In the tech and games sector, she moderated the 6th Berlin Games Breakfast at Games Ground 2024, addressing the ecological footprint of the gaming industry and the need for sustainable practices. She also co-hosts the “AI Lunch & Learn” series with fellow MP Stefan Ziller, bringing together experts to discuss responsible AI governance. Together, they’ve proposed a cross-departmental AI governance roadmap for Berlin, grounded in ethical and legal clarity.
