I’m Sara, an art director and game developer based in Berlin, originally from Iran. I studied B.A in Graphic Design there, then Animation in Germany; my short films screened at Annecy, Seoul, and Tehran. I’ve worked across animation and games as a visual dev, 3D layout, and UI/UX artist, plus a 2023 Viborg Open Workshop (DK) residency for my upcomming graphic novel. This year, I co-founded Darya Studios, creating a narrative first-person mystery unravelling a marine biologist’s legacy about the whales, collaborating with marine scientists and supported by the Press Start Games Founding Stipend. I have lived across cultures and inspired by nature, so I hope our work at Darya Studios celebrates diversity, and inspires love for each other and the world we share.
