Sofie Fransson is a Sustainability Specialist at Modern Times Group (MTG), an international gaming village. Based in Stockholm, she leads the group’s work on sustainability integration, and regulatory compliance, driving MTG’s transition toward alignment with the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). Before joining MTG, Sofie worked at Position Green, a global sustainability advisory software company, where she supported organizations across industries. Earlier in her career, she served as a volunteer consultant and analyst for NGOs and as well as conducting fieldwork in Ghana and Tanzania. Driven by a passion for environmentally, socially, and financially sound business practices, Sofie is committed to helping the gaming industry harness its creativity and reach to drive a more sustainable and inclusive future.
