Jan Lachauer

Jan Lachauer is a creative director and developer based in Munich. For seven years, he was Creative Director at K5 Factory, shipping eight VR and mobile games, including the live-service social VR title Oktoberfest – The Official Game, and growing the art team from 2 to 12. Before working in games, he co-directed the BBC animated adaptations Room on the Broom and Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes, earning two Academy Award nominations, two BAFTAs and two International Emmys. Today, he combines storytelling and visual direction with hands-on engineering and AI-powered production pipelines.
